reported Sept. 19, 2017

According to Reuters reporting from Brussels, an almost intact wreck of one of 11 known downed U-Boats or World War One German submarines that used to prey on shipping off of the Belgium coast has recently been located.

A representative from the province of West Flanders claimed that it was a "well-preserved example", but would not divulge the coordinates of the discovery to expose the sunken wreckage to unauthorized salvage operations or illicit treasure hunters.
